Precision machining · Southern California

The engineer who designs your part also machines it.

M-Tec is a prototype-focused machine shop founded by an aerospace engineer. We take on the tight-tolerance, complicated work that standard fabricators turn down, for robotics, medical, and pollution-control teams that can't afford a redesign loop.

Why engineers call us

M-Tec combines 35+ years of engineering expertise with precision machining to solve complex manufacturing challenges. Founded by an aerospace engineer who moved from directing software teams to hands-on fabrication, we bring an engineering-first approach where the same person who designs your solution also machines it.

Our team consists entirely of engineers. There's no “throw it over the wall” between design and the spindle. We specialize in tight-tolerance prototypes and complicated parts for robotics, medical, and emerging pollution-control industries.

We're the shop other companies call when standard fabricators can't deliver. Quality over quantity is the standard here: we excel at the challenging work that requires both engineering insight and precision craftsmanship.

Start a project

Tell us what you're building and where it's stuck. Drawings, CAD files, or even a napkin sketch. We'll review your submission and respond within 1-2 business days.

If another shop already told you it can't be done, mention that. Those are usually our favorite jobs.
